Tight Weave Carbon Cordage is a new product manufactured from our high-quality carbonized polymer thread (tow) woven into a “3D layup”. The resulting weave increases the density, tensile strength, and resistance to abrasion. Increased density produces a braid with higher electrical conductivity, making this 24k Cordage an excellent choice for flexible heaters in vacuum heat treating applications. 24k Grade is stocked and ready for shipment. The maximum service temperature in an oxidizing environment is 400℃ and in vacuum 2400℃.
