CFC Survey Racks

CFC Survey Racks, manufactured from our chopped CFC fibers are lightweight and offer superior performance for high-temperature applications. The material will not warp as with traditional molybdenum or alloy survey racks. Material is also referred to as Carbon Fiber Composites, Carbon-Carbon, or Caron Reinforced Matrix Composites.

Description

CFC Survey Racks

Temperature Rating:

In vacuum – 5432℉ | 3000℃

Grades: PC70, PC70H, WL60, IC50

Benefits
    • High strength and modulus
    • Fire-resistant and dimensionally stable
    • Configuration of Carbon Fabric
    • Fatigue and fracture resistant. Cracks will not propagate as with molded graphite fixtures
    • Lightweight and low thermal mass permitting one to load more parts in each furnace due to the material’s excellent strength to weight ratio while reducing cycle time
    • Thermal deformation-resistant. CFC will remain flat and increase in strength at elevated temperatures reducing scrap and maintaining stricter part tolerances in comparison to a metal that warps over time
